The Grounds
Maison de Qui
Not a château, but a home shaped by generations, artistry, and regional materials… all curated like a living, breathing gallery. Every room reflects a spirit of creativity and the touch of those who’ve passed through: from the glass-walled solarium to the retro-tiled bathrooms to the wraparound balcony overlooking the Pyrenees.
Inside, five bedrooms, multiple lounge spaces, and nooks for art, writing, reading, or stillness are all tucked into a structure that’s as soulful as it is simple. Tile, stone, brick, and verdant surroundings define the aesthetic. Outside, garden paths and terrace seating invite quiet rituals: coffee at sunrise, journaling before dusk, a glass of wine above the Garonne River.
This is a home meant to be lived in. Not staged, but shared.
Montréjeau
Founded in 1272, Montréjeau sits where the valleys meet the peaks: at the gateway to the Pyrenees and the spiritual crossroads of Occitanie. It’s not polished, but it’s rich in what matters: small town Southwestern France. You’ll find romanesque basilicas, a centuries-old Monday market, and quiet streets that come alive when you least expect. A place where the past isn’t preserved behind glass—it’s still in use.
The village offers what cities can’t: small town rhythm, a countryside context, and simplicity. Walk five minutes to get a chocolatine (chocolate croissant) for breakfast. Take in sweeping mountain views or the train to nearby sights. Or dip into a funky local cafe on the town square.
This land holds memory. It helps guests reframe their place in time and awaken something older within.
